In an effort to raise awareness and generate applications for the Correctional Officer classification, the Virginia Department of Corrections executed a 30-day digital marketing pilot program with a candidate virtual career fair.

The Virginia Department of Corrections (VA DOC) retained All-Star Talent to provide a 30-day marketing campaign that included a Facebook/Instagram lead generation campaign as well as a virtual career fair information session. All-Star Talent created a custom landing page that allowed candidates to select the facilities that they were interested in and get a instant email with the link to the state's application page. The ease of use and ability to interact vial a mobile phone was able to generate nearly 300 leads that were interested in the Correctional Officer position.
In addition, Virginia DOC hosted 2 virtual information sessions.
90% of the attendees surveyed from the information session will or have already applied.
At the end of the campaign between the virtual information session and lead generation campaign VADOC was able to generate 355 unique leads for the Correctional Officer position.
