To recruit for hard-to-fill Institution Registered Nurse positions, ODOC utilized All-Star Talent's services to initiate lead generation campaigns, combined with virtual hiring sessions that allowed prospective candidates to meet the organization online and hear from real employees about the career and department.
The Oregon Department of Corrections' Medical Services initiated our services to recruit for Institution Registered Nurses (IRN). We provided marketing services through a Facebook/Instagram lead generation campaign as well as virtual information session events, developing online ad creative, email marketing, TalentVoice survey messaging reports, and more.
Using lead generation systems, we were able to increase the IRN pipeline through inviting them to an hour-long information session online to talk about aspects of the job that candidates were interested in. While many may know the environment of Registered Nurses, not many understand how serving as an RN in an institution is similar and different. Through virtual hiring events, prospective candidates see the organizational culture of the department, hear from real people at their desired positions, and are able to interact with the department in conveniently.
The IRN career campaigns increased the talent pipeline for ODOC and have successfully converted into direct hires in these hard-to-fill positions.
